EVER REACHING COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Amazing things have occurred and been accomplished since this ministry began in 2012. We know all of it is due to God's goodness and grace, and the prayers and support we received from donors and volunteers.

​

We currently are serving over 560 families each month from up to 27 counties, and providing them monthly food assistance, clothes, baby items, housewares, furniture and appliances - all for free. All donations we receive are freely given to those in need. In 2023, we were blessed to serve over 11,100 from 17 Mississippi counties and in 2024, we were blessed to serve well over 16,000 with the help of our devoted volunteers, multiple churches, ministries, businesses and organizations who help with our programs.

 

​​​​​Our 12th annual "Love Out Loud" free family-fun day is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the entrance of the beautiful Yogi on the Lake in Pelahatchie. Children will enjoy games, activities, bounce houses and face-painting; parents/guardians can enjoy watching their children play without the stress of the cost, and be able to visit over 40+ ministry and organization booths and learn of important resources available to them. Everyone who attends will enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the members of the Life Church of Hurley, Mississippi, distributed by the awesome Kingdom Responders ministry, CenterPoint Energy and volunteers, and enjoy receiving door prizes and entertainment. We hope you will make plans to attend.

​Our mission at ERCO is to "be doers of the Word and not hearers only" (James 1:22), and to "love because He first loved us" (1 John 4:19). We are personally committed to the teaching in James 2:14-16 and Isaiah 58:7, that calls us to 'share your food with the hungry ... give clothes to those who need them."  We put our faith in action by meeting the physical needs of the less fortunate by distributing food, clothing, furniture and other supportive items we have available at no cost to them; and by meeting their spiritual needs through prayers, distribution of Bibles, personal and group evangelism; and by actively showing them unconditional love. We also put our faith in action by serving as a network hub with other organizations to create strategic alliances to share resources that provide for the body, soul and spiritual needs of individuals. We identify needs and work together to meet those needs through our collaborative efforts.

We ask for your prayers; come volunteer when possible; and support this ministry through your donations of physical items (clothes, food, housewares, etc.) and finances in order that the important services and programs at ERCO can continue. We pray God will bless our efforts and allow us to continue to serve as His hands and feet throughout 2024 and many years to come.

Ever Reaching Community Outreach is a 501C3 faith-based nonprofit committing whatever we do to the Lord (Proverbs 16:3).  We are only able to go and serve those in need in our surrounding communities by the grace of God, the physical support of volunteers, and through donations given to this ministry.
